[03:25] Howdy, I'm playing around with OpenSER for fun with the intended end result that I can place calls to other SIP numbers, and have people call in and choose between me or my wife via an extension, or to acces a menu served up with Asterisk. At this point I have a debian stable machine, kernel 2.4 running openser and setup with mysql, and have added a user, and sucessfully connected to the server on my local network using twinkle. [03:25] Now when I try to place a test call to a number listed at voip-info.org I get an error 479: We don't accept private IP contacts. I *think* this might have something to do with NAT traversal issues, but i'm unsure. Does this sound like it's a Twinkle or OpenSER misconfiguration, or is it just the number i'm dialing out?
